Above Ground Alliteration

Above Ground Alliteration
by sAM fLOT 2010

Zooming over the erroneous zone
Looking down on pines and pine cones
Resurrected and falling and growing
With obvious growing pains
Which change the organized chaos
Into something more manageable
Uniform chaos
Perfectly unexpected
At just the right time
Just the right intersection
Of forgotten and unforgettable

Zooming over the underground
Free from free form
Adapting to my adoption
Of above ground alliteration
Consistent with constant consonants
Revealing resultant relevance
If not resonance

Zooming out as all becomes small
Everything dropping down below me
Dropping down and away
Slowly searing my cerebellum
To form collateral allegiances
Aligned from previous lives

Xerxes Dropped A Dime

Xerxes Dropped A Dime
by Sam Flot

Xerxes dropped a dime
On Judas escaping
Chariot chasing the horse’s lariat
Timing the gun’s bullets
Against the mirror’s reflection
Multiplied by the factor of
Yellow mustard and exonerated pumpkin sauce
Always tastes best on everything bread
Toasted just past brittle brown and
Submerged in the leftover river falloff
Of mountain grown snow
Melting to become leftover river
 Seasonally wafting it’s scent
Over mountain and ragweed and
Asking for empathetic solvency
Is like wandering with clues
To dissect a moth’s brain
To find out why he wants to go to the light
So badly he will risk everything

All in
I’m heading straight to the light!

Groovin Bird Words

Groovin' Bird Words
by fLOT

Who knew if you let it simply rip
If it would tear or come out all torn?
If it would skip over the surface or
Come under the radar’s
Elusive belt of inferred deterrence
As the canceling out factors
Were not included and
The car was never packed and
The gas never went in the tank
But the flowers still grew and
The coast still greets the ocean’s malleable shoreline
In direct response to the moon’s pulling and pushing
Elevating and carving
Celebrating and when the clock runs
It runs fast

So don’t forget to include all your thank you’s
Blow hard and get out
Polite like
Unless they tell you to wail,
If they tell you to wail
They well sure better know
They have hurried up a hurricane

Camouflage

Camouflage
by Sam Flot

Intruding on the introduction
Diluting the deduction
Camouflage is many colors hiding
Inside the outdoor siding
Predicted by the predicate
Dedicated to the delicate
Happens every over sky day
Trapping the shades of the bay

The canvas is where you make it
The trail of your actions shapes it
Streaking and swirling over the plane
Ready to receive the same
Ink paint or spray
Tapping out the rhythms of the day

Pull

Pull
by fLOT

Extended definitions of definite
Wrapped up in securing and promising
Always and never
With no room for elbows or wiggling

Pulled by a leader or
Pushed by followers?

The parade of promises never stops
Always marching forth
To flex the molecular muscles
Of the empty guarantee

Each lifetime is limited
The promises never pay
When the limitation is proven

Selective translation of the above and
Distinct ambiguities leave no choice for the choosing few
Deductive transitions and context
Will be used to explain the explicit inconsistencies
Striving for these inconclusive decisions
