Split Like The Red Sea
I ran with poetry American outlaws
Outside the outlaw tribe
Inside the pack of domesticated cats
Inside the block walking the top of the fence
To the south silently approaching
The evolution of a circle’s completion point
Sincerely piled like newspaper starts a pyre
Entirely random
Clean
Straight like white or square or
Sequencing demonstrations of the elephant curiosity
Artfully selecting a parabolic wave
Goodbye and hello
Goodbye and hello
Down the middle of the middle center
Split like the Red Sea
Outta here gone and
Just like the old ways of
Digesting a daze
Of calliope ponies connected to
The circling music cloud floating in
The atmosphere
Of a dizzying carnival of the senses
Stretching to the rubber band’s limit
The glass break s and
Mercury shoots itself
Through the bullet hole opening
Spreading it’s subsequent spurt
Seamlessly into the sea
Of gathered poets
Succinctly soused inside the roadhouse
Nowhere near a library or books piled
Higher than the gloved attendants
Who often culminate in a contradiction of germs
That you just missed hitting straight on
But hey when the floor rises under you
Be prepared to meet the ceiling quickly
Get real flat
As fast as you possibly can
